Дизайнер VASSA

В 90-е Васса получила образование в Америке (Art School VCU, FIT).

Работала на ведущие нью-йоркские компании, такие как Ann Klein, Calvin Klein, Federated.

В 1996 году показала свою первую дизайнерскую коллекцию VASSA в Нью-Йорке.

1997 год – первый показ на неделе Российской Моды «Отражение русского Серебряного Века и атмосферы Нью-Йорка конца тысячелетия».

1998 год – показ в Москве коллекции « AGAINST THE BEAT» по мотивам фильмам Микеланджело Антониони «Blow Up».

2000 год – вместе с партнерами создала компанию VASSA&Co.

2000 год – создан бренд VASSA&Co в России

2000 год – запущена первая в России индустриальная линия prêt-a-porter на самом высоком производственном уровне Made in Russia.

2000 год – открылись первые три бутика VASSA&Co в Москве.

2002 год – показ коллекции «FACTORY» - идеи Энди Уорхолла, с его сумасшедшим поп-артом, искусством, поставленным на конвейер.

2003 год – показ коллекции в рамках RFW коллекции «EASY RIDER» - тема свободы, музыки и культуры через призму американского кино.

2004 год – показ коллекции в рамках RFW «NEWTON FUTURISM» в эстетике декадансной черно-белой фотографии Хельмута Ньютона.

2005 год – показ коллекции в рамках RFW «ESCAPE»

2005 год – присвоено почетное звание «Бренд года»

2006 год – показ коллекции «Men Ray» - тема опередившего свое время художника-дадаиста, сюрреалиста и его эротические насыщенные женские образы.

2006 год – презентация сезонной коллекции в лондонском HARRODS при поддержке UFFR.

2006 год - VASSA по независимой оценке зарубежного издания «Elementmoscow.ru» вошла в «top 7 russian product».

2007 год – показ VASSA COLLECTION с огромным успехом прошел в рамках Лондонской Недели Моды (LFW) в Royal Academy of Arts при поддержке UFFR и был отмечен британской прессой как один из самых успешных и ярких показов недели.

Последователь Нью-Йоркской школы минимализма и «наследник» Российских традиций конструктивизма, дизайнер мастерски смешивает оба направления, постоянно находясь в поиске первичной идеи. Путешествуя во времени вплоть до medieval и возвращаясь к 60 и 70-ым, вдохновляясь ранним Хальстоном и Джефри Бином.

2007 - показ коллекции VASSA DELUX в рамках недели LEXUS NEO COUTURE.

2009 год – показ в рамках RFW - VASSA Concept Collection «East Meets West», где японские авангардисты и бельгийская школа дизайна являются главными полюсами и четкими ориентирами для дизайнера в мире формы, линий, цвета и в области духовной архитектуры мира, с его восточной мистической философией и западной материалистической ментальностью.

2010 – присвоено почетное звание «Бренд года» на WORLD FASHION TV.

2011 – получила международную премию «Fashion Olymp» на Fashion TV



Designer VASSA

During the 90s VASSA received education in the USA (Art school at VCU –Virginia Commonwealth University, Fashion Institute of Technology, N.Y.).

After the graduation worked in New York as a designer in companies Ann Klein, Calvin Klein and Federated.

In 1996 presented her own collection VASSA in Soho, New York.

1997 the first show during the Russian Fashion Week (RFW) titled “Reflections of the Russian Silver Age and the Atmosphere of New York at the end of the Millenium”.

1998 – the show in Moscow of the collection “Against the Beat”, inspired by the film of Michelangelo Antonioni “Blow Up”.

2000 – the foundation with partners of company “VASSA & Co.”, based on its own strong industrial and technical production base in Moscow.

2000 – the foundation of the clothing brand “VASSA & Co.”

2000 – launching of the first in Russia industrial line of prêt-a-porter of “VASSA & Co.”

2000 – the opening of the first 3 own VASSA brand stores in Moscow.

2002 – the show of the collection “Factory”, dedicated to the ideas of Andy Wahrhol and his mad notions of pop-art – the art manufactured on the row.

2003 –the show during the RFW of the collection “Easy Rider” – the theme of freedom, music and culture through the prism of the US film industry.

2004 – the show during RFW of the collection “Newton Futurism”, based on the decadent aesthetics of black-and-white photography of Helmut Newton.

2005 – the show during the RFW of the collection “ESCAPE”.

2005 – received the national honorable award “The Brand of the Year”.

2006 – the show of the collection titled “Men Ray” – dedicated to the artist – dedaist and surrealist, who was ahead of his time and who presented erotic feelings of feminine images.

2006 – presentation of the seasonal collection in the London Harrods with the support of the British group UFFR.

2006 – VASSA was awarded by the independent international publication “Elementmoscow.ru” the title of one of “The Top 7 Best Russian Products”.

2007 – the show “VASSA Collection” enjoyed warm reception high media reviews in the framework of the London Fashion Week (LFW) in the Royal Academy of Arts with the support of UFFR. The British press praised the show as one of the most successful and bright demonstration of LFW.

2007 – the presentation of the collection VASSA DELUX in the framework of the week LEXUS NEO CUTURE.

2009 – the presentation during RFW of Concept Collection “East Meets West” where the Japanese “avant-garde artists” and the Belgian design school are the main poles and clear guide-lines for the designer in the world of forms, lines, colors and in the field of spiritual architecture of the world with its Oriental philiosophy of mysticism and the Western materialistic mentality.”

2010 – awarded the honorable title “The Brand of the Year” on World Fashion TV.

2010 – celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the brand VASSA & Co. with the opening of the latest, the 30thexclusive brand shop of “VASSA & Co.” in Russia. 2011 – awarded the honorable international prize “FASHION OLYMP” by the FASHION TV”.




A new collection from VASSA, Russia’s most avant-garde and yet most commercially successful and established designer.

An adept of New York’s minimalist school and heir to Russian Constructivism, she blends both trends, always searching for the purest elemental idea at the root of every image and silhouette she creates.

VASSA draws on polarities as her trademark: asceticism and sexuality, hedonism and spirituality, geometry and entropy, contrast of texture and form, black and white.

Growing beauty restricted by cloth is the theme of VASSA’s new collection. The designer travels in time as far back as the medieval era and returns to the 1960s and 1970s, fascinated by the early Halston and Geoffrey Beene.

Brand History: As a name, VASSA appeared in New York City in 1996. In 2000, only four years after the brand’s birth in NYC, VASSA already operated an extensive network of stores in Moscow. As of today, she has no equals among Russian designers in terms of commercial success. Her success can be attributed to a consistent strategy of brand building enhanced by the emphasis on the unique silhouette and uncompromisingly high quality both in cutting and fabric selection. In 2005, VASSA received the honorary Brand of the Year award, and also “Top 7 Russian product” award.

“VASSA will have no problem entering any market, she is as commercially viable as Max Marra”, says Mario Bozelli, the President of Italy’s National Fashion Chamber. “If there is one independent fashion house in Moscow ready to claim its right for the future on the global market place, it is surely VASSA.
